All About the Boosters

Who are the Boosters? |
|
When students join band or orchestra, their parents automatically gain the title, “Booster Parent.” Parents can become involved in the band and orchestra programs by attending Booster Meetings, which are generally held one evening every couple of months. Attendance at these meetings is not mandatory, but they provide opportunities for parents who want to volunteer or have a desire to understand the inner-workings of the program. |

Why get involved? |

The band and orchestra programs in Fort Atkinson are wonderfully successful thanks to the support of the booster parents. Our concerts are spectacular because of the phenomenal parents that help set-up and run them! We are able to provide music scholarships and fund field trip opportunities because of the support of the boosters. If you want to influence how the band and orchestra budget is spent, or simply want to offer yourself as a volunteer, please get involved! The children in the Fort Music Programs directly benefit from all that you do! |
